Chicken Corn Soup Festival and Gospel Music, Friday, July 2, 2010, 5:15 PM, sponsored by Waggoners UMC at North Middleton Fire Company, 310 N. Middleton Road, Carlisle.  In celebrating the 4th of July, we will enjoy chicken corn soup, sandwiches, ice cream, dessert, and gospel music by Chapter VII.  The food is delicious!  If you would like to purchase chicken corn soup to take home, you will need to bring containers.  There is a food line forming as soon as you get inside the building, so we will meet outside the entrance to the building at 5:15 p.m. and go in as a group.  If you are arriving late, please look for us inside. Bring a lawn chair so you can enjoy the outdoor gospel music.  Chairperson is Marty Line.  

Directions:  From the square in Carlisle travel north on Route 34. Turn left just before railroad tracks onto Spring Road/Route 34.  After going under turnpike bridge, make a slight left at McKay's Cave Restaurant onto Longs Gap Road traveling 2.6 miles, and turn left onto N. Middleton Road 0.4 miles on your left.
